Disabling Pic comments

Is there an option to disable picture comments? I upload pics and other users put stupid comments on, I delete immediately. Is there a way of disabling other users from commenting on individual pics?

You can't disable the option for others to comment on your pictures like you can do for profile comments. But you can block certain users so that they can't comment on your pictures (and on your profile and that they can't send you any messages).
