posting pics in CHAT

hi i have had an ongoing issue for over 6 weeks where i can not post pics in chat rooms, i have tried different browses with varied settings for privacy and cookies noting seems to work, other users have also confirmed they have the same issue,, hope you can help

Hi,

I had this issue too.
It looks like it's related to Flash.

This is how I fixed it:
-NON permanent fix-
Find a user in the right nav bar who has the cam icon. Click it and a new window will pop up, where you've to activate flash. Your page will be refreshed and now images can be uploaded.

-Maybe permanent fix (for Chrome browser)-
in your chrome browser go to chrome://flags/#prefer-html-over-flash
and change the Prefer HTML over Flash dropdown box to "disabled"
Re-launch (by clicking the link which appears at the bottom of the screen when you change any option) et voila! all should be fixed.

hay thanks the fix for updating flash works even tho it had been updated previous

hi Glad it works man.

Normaly it's your browser that blocked it (out of security i guess) and it doenst matter if flash has updated recently.

Altho correct me if I wrong.
