Mobile/tablet interface - down-swiping returns to search re

It started over the last couple of days or so. On the mobile/tablet interface, when you down-swipe on an image, instead of going back one step to the image's gallery, it goes back to the search results and a list of galleries.

Sorry to have to "complain", but it really interrupts the flow, so to speak.

It also means that I can't comment or favourite a pic either on the mobile/tablet interface, since it just goes back to the gallery search list.

Well, navigation is still screwd up here on the beta mobile interface, is no-one else experiencing this?

+1 I've been having the same issue over the past month or so.akea navigating the site much more irritating.

Just wanted to add another voice to this issue. In the past when I swiped down or hit back it would close the large view of an individual image and go back to the gallery. Now it takes you one more step back. It takes you completely out of the gallery you were trying to view. Not sure if this change is intentional, but it sucks.

Please change it back to the previous behavior where it just takes you one step back to the gallery you were viewing. This was a muh more to intuitive behavior, not sure why it was changed.

Here is what I can tell you about the mobile site.

It was written in haste. Meaning that not all of the features you would expect to work will work.

I have hounded the IT, webpage design guys and owners about this for years. Technically the site is in "beta" mode.

Which simply means it isn't done.

That's all I can say. I don't own the site. I just manage it. I am not the boss of the IT guys.
