Pic size on imagefap

Hello there,

I've been here for quite some time and so far enjoying the content.
I noticed though that the size filter, when browsing the galleries needs an update.
Today more and more users have a 4K monitr, yet, when choosing huge images, we end up with some pics which are 1024x768 - thst was huge perhaps ten years ago, by today's standard we can call it medium.

Perhaps the admins can look into this, I am sure the users would appreciate an update here.

Yes, I've been hoping for this for a long time. Perhaps a "Gigantic" category that's at least 1920x1080 pixels?
It's a nice-to-have, not an essential, but maybe it would be fairly easy to implement when time permits?

Maybe this will help. Recently I had a guy email me saying his pictures were distorted. So I checked. Yep, big mess.

His pictures were 4000x3000. That is way too much for a picture website like ours. You could see every hair on her pussy. Even though she was shaved bald.

Viewing at full screen (27 inch on my PC) I still has to scroll left, right, up and down to see the picture. Or just view it at a more reasonable view which was just fine.

So i get it. Everyone has a phone or camera that will display super large pictures. For a porn site this is not needed. But if you were a photographer or a guy with a super expensive telescope which produces monster pictures, then those pictures 4000x3000 or more you would find on NASA or something like that.

I've seen a member (don't remember who) uploading pics which were larger than 12000x9000!

Everytime I clicked on a pic Chrome gave me some error message. My old PC with Windows 7 can't handle these sizes. They use too much memory.

When I have very large pics to upload I downsize them to 2000x1500.

I totally agree. I would try to avoid sets with pictures of that size. As said before, it's best to resize them down to a manageable size but even with a good tool, that can take some time. So if I see something that big, I'll probably not bother.

I always cringe when I see huge file size uploads. My only fix for it has been to open the photo itself in a new tab, where Firefox will proportion it correctly. To do this, I have clicked on the photo in the gallery and it opens. Then I right click while the cursor is over the photo and select "Open in new tab." The proportions will be correct and any previous distortions will be gone.

Btw, I've had this issue with every browser I've ever used with ImageFap ...and this goes back well over ten years ago.

Well, one solution could be to do like on the mobile site and resize the image to fit most of the screen?
This, and/or generate intermediary images at fixed size 1000px ish and medium compression (would be good for slow internet mobile too).
But that would increase storage cost a bit...
