Someone became a fan and then closed their account...

Someone became a fan late yesterday but I just checked and their account is now closed. This has happened before.
Does anyone have any idea why this happens? Do you think it's just that they are a bot account that adds itself as a fan of lots of members and gets forcibly closed down?

This happens a lot sorry to say. I looked up that closed account. This was either a spammer or someone who was doing commercial advertising on their profile page.
