Missing Avatars - Will ImageFap be able to restoire them?

Hello Admins.

Yes I know that there is a thread in the Announcments.

But I asked the question above now three times in that thread and did not get an answer. Not even "IDK"

Ok, we know the problem. User avatars are gone. Partially completely, partially there's only missing the big image.

Club avatars are mostly gone too.

Reason (without any need for asking your IT-nerds): There is a script running mad that kills the entire content of the subdirectories. For which reason ever.

Question: Is there a backup of the avatar files? Is IF able to restore the data?

Avatars - they are "probably" gone forever. Knowing that users should just upload a new avatar.

BUT! Some people say their avatars have magically appeared. So, if you look at your previous avatars and they are blank don't delete them.

Ok. Thank you for the clear answer. That gives all club managers a little work to show that they still care for their club.

I''d guess cache. Or they see their thumbnail avatar and think ever<thing is ok. There are several cases where only the big image is missing.
