Well let me ask you this ancientmariner47-you you rather not have this site? Becvause that's likely the case without ads. Yes they're annoying at times but they help keep the site free. If it bothers you that much you have some options:
Install an ad-blocking plugin/add-on.
Try a different browser.
Leave. But believe me when I say there are far worse out there when it comes to this stuff.
