I expect TONS of crappy images in the AI category
It's really hard to create actually sexy image with desired trait. For example, it took me months to learn how to make cameltoe in jeans, and it's not just a simple prompt.
Someone might like dirty panties, or specific sex poses, it's hard and time consuming to create all that stuff.
But it's easy to toss a prompt and pipe tons of similar images of generic milf straight into imagefap, I'm afraid we will be flooded with generic milfs or anime pictures and people like me (I try to craft something new, something special with every gallery) will drown in garbage.

AI itself is just a tool, but too many code monkeys don't have enough artistic skills to fix the errors it causes, like missing limbs, 6 fingers, things melting into each other. Maybe if AIfags actually upload good content instead of saturating the site with endless slop, mods wouldn't have had a reason to issue the ban hammer on it.

All of that is still photography and pornography and represents actual WORK and achievement. AI shit? I could make that myself if I wanted to see it. Why share what can be generated by suggestion? Lame argument, but we have come to expect that from cogsuckers. This site's users would be far less aggressive with you dorks if you kept your shit where it belongs, but you can't because you want to let it seep into other categories because you crave validation. It won't happen.

Problem isn't AI, it's the inability to control if we can see it or not.

I'm fine with a lot of AI content, but when 50% of new galleries are AI images, it's just fucking boring. I shouldn't need to click through to a gallery to see if it's in the AI category. Just let me filter that out.

AI is a tool, it's also not the same as photography. AI is more like drawing, in that you are creating something new, not capturing something that exists.

"Creating something new" by stealing other people's work. Making fake porn instead of finding real porn. Again, sharing what anyone could generate for themselves. Keep it in a folder on your desktop. No one should have to be burdened by all of this slop clogging up their feeds, and no host should need to have it taking up space on their servers. Then you have the people who take actual porn and use AI to slap the face of some girl at work who wouldn't give them the time of day onto it, literally subtracting the value of the original work just because they can't get over some unrequited desires.

Three-four years ago when AI was starting to break into mainstream porn it was crude and poorly executed. Meanwhile things have moved on very quickly. Less weird looking eyes or fingers etc,
pubic hair looks less like steel wool. I have viewed many images recently that are very tasteful, well composed and utterly convincing, yet no human was involved other than someone with a computer. Difficult to put a value to it, as it depends what your interest is, but a good percentage of AI these days is erotic or quite erotic. Porn is and has always been about pushing boundaries, presenting beautiful or shocking erotic images that hopefully maybe your bag or not and may or may not be realistic..
The problem here on IF, is as always, uploaders. Creators uploading images choosing the right category is a Major issue. I wish IF would just have ONE category for uploading instead of offering three or more options, this would hopefully stop many people looking at images they don't want to.
As a regular viewer of IF I have noticed how much more traffic there is in the AI category. No doubt this will impact production of porn in some categories such as BDSM where amazing images can be produced faster and cheaper.
AI is in it's infancy, like it or not not too far into the future it will replace much of normal porn. Amateur porn will become sought after for being real, rather like Techno music vs live music or art vs digital art.

If you can't do something that is as easy as you say just takes a few prompts to make something as interesting as what you're bitching about you have nothing intelligent to say. You're just parroting what trolls like you have been saying about impressionism, expressionism, abstraction, photography, movies, talkies, TV, and CGI, The old guard sees the competition as a threat rather than a new opportunity for expression. And trolls who can do nothing anyway parrot the malicious platitudes.

"It's just prompts". You could not be more wrong or ignorant. Its you who pushes a button to get it for free. It can represent a lifetime of study, and experience to even know what prompts to try.
