Where do you hide your porn?

I keep my stash on a flashdrive because I dont trust keeping my archive on a website. I am thinking about, what if something happens and I am not here tomorrow, how would you hide your stash so that family members dont find it and discover what a nut their family member really is. Morbid subject I know, but it is something that really bugs me. I would really like to hear opinions on the subject.

You can of course keep your favourite pictures that you don't want in a public gallery safe in a 'private' gallery here on imagefap. However be warned, the same rules apply to private galleries as public as regards to what's allowable and copyright issues. Other than that, I suppose your stuck with password protected flash drives.

I kept mine on a micro-sd card for several years...before that it was on a cell-phone sized external hard drive. Before that it was burned onto CD's as data -- before that it was on hidden VHS tapes -- at one point, I had 6 or 7 of them, then burned those to a DVD. When I put it in a hard drive or even a SD card, I always created an ominous sounding folder such as "SYSDIR" or "DIRECBOOT" -- naming a porn folder "Porn Folder" seems careless if you are concerned with that.

Mine is almost all on-line now -- I don't want an audit trail but yes, at my age, I do wonder where it goes if something happens to me and if it's on a hard drive or zip, or SD, that's an issue. But if you're dead, does it really matter. But with many of the porn websites, isn't it just as easy to favorite the videos rather than downloading them?

honestly instead of going the long ass extra mile to encrypt all of your folder/files and to hide that shit rename the folder to “Internet Explorer” and then right-click the folder for properties and go to customize and then change the folder icon to Internet Explorer. I guarantee no one will open that folder.

Wow I could write a book on the subject. First it was rolled up in a Maxwell House coffee can and hidden in the insulation of our house- shit I was about 10 years old. After that it was in all sorts of places- guitar case, between the mattresses, in my guitar amplifier, and in a hiding place in the basement ceiling when I had a family with kids. So thankful for floppy disks, CDs and finally digital storage. Now I have an external drive, Toshiba I think. But YES it remains a problem because I am sloppy and leave it mounted all the time- so if I'm dead for any reason I am basically fucked. Not only that, I have a collection of butt plugs (wife knows because I have many displayed in my man cave so that isn't a big deal), chastity cages (wife knows) and about a half dozen dildos that I enjoy fucking my ass with (wife does NOT know). In a nutshell I don't want the hard drive or my dildos found. I could just throw everything away but I would just start over. Yes it is a valid concern, I hear you and I feel it too. Let's hope all works out well for us and our favorite hobby; after all, it's a lot more fun than collecting stamps or doing crossword puzzles!

I don't keep digital porn for long, but when I do have it I keep it on a SD card. Easy to stash. I don't have any more paper porn, but when I did I just kept it on a bookshelf between books and magazines.

I used to dress a little. Kept bra, panties, wig, makeup, etc stashed with the Halloween and Xmas decorations in a box in a closet. I hoped if it was found could be passed off as Halloween stuff.

I do have some on a backup drive, but I'm not really comfortable with that.

Also, there are one or two people that have my photos on their hard drives...not really comfortable about that. I had copies at one point, but panicked because I'm a bitch like most humans and deleted them. Didn't remove them from other people's drives though. oops

I live alone and don't hide anything. When I'm dead, I'll be dead and won't care.

But when I was a teenager living at home, I would save it all to some obscure folder inside of a program files folder that no one ever used or looked at, give it a fake name that vaguely sounded like a system file, then change its icon to something that looked like a system file.

Only problem with that is it's still a folder and so it can still technically be navigated to.

Another trick you can do is put all of the files into a .zip folder. Then rename the .zip folder to have the extension of a different file type like "icon.jpeg". This will force windows to change the file icon to extension type (jpeg) and when people click on it, windows won't know what to do with it because the file does not match the extension. They would have to know to change it back to .zip first. You can also password protect .zip files. The downside to this method is that you can't browse your files by thumbnail.

When I was in my teens I would do the old System 32 try, and hide my folder(s) in there, but now I currently live alone, and don't even try to hide anything since no one who visits me goes anywhere near my PC lol.
