Well this wasn't supposed to happen, but it did.
As some of you have noticed, when you upload pictures you might see some errors.
This is because of a site update, basically called PHP. This was all over the news and listed as something that could be considered as critical if not fixed.
So the fix was put on our site. Everything seemed to be ok at the onset. Then the uploads started. Not everyone had an issue. And we know that because the new galleries you see were still strong.
I noticed that as the hours went by more errors were popping up. I notified the IT guys about this.
Honestly when a patch or fix was applied there was always that small chance that something could go wrong. And it did
For now the uploading function is still turned on. But if this mess continues to get worse we might just stop uploading until Monday or so.
The fix isn't just by looking at the code and doing a simple line or two of editing.
Hang on a little while. This fix is priority #1.
UPDATE : I will also note some of the obvious. The site is running incredibly slow. This will also be addressed.
UPDATE 2 : Nothing new to report. I think the IT guys will be working on fixes (probably many) to repair what the new PHP messed up.
Also, this problem started on or around the afternoon of the 23rd (Friday). As it goes, you would have uploaded a new gallery. You give it a title, then choose your pictures. But the pictures failed to upload and you saw different types of errors. The problem is that the gallery stayed on your account and it was empty. Annoying.
Anyone who had an empty gallery and didn't remove it - I did that for you.

UPDATE 3 : There is none. But people like to be informed even if nothing is happening.
UPDATE 4 : Nothing else to add. Some people mentioned 503 error. Yes, this means we disabled this function for uploading. Also, uploading is down for all of our websites. So it's not just an imagefap thing. Obviously this is a "terrible" thing to be happening. -= END OF DAILY UPDATE =-
UPDATE 5 : In the wee hours of the morning (2 AM) I was informed that a fixed version of the uploader would be released today. Time not specifically set.
