NO to Censorship in Anime!!!

Yesterday and today I spent time searching for anime images, mostly yuri, and was seriously aggravated by the fact that quite a few of those images are censored. Isn't there a way to remove the censorship marks from the images?

oh... haha... so not what i thought you were going to say... i was all ready to lay into you... but you are talking about those blocks they like to put over the sex organs. that isnt censorship, thats the anime companies protecting their product, i think. you have to spend money, and lots of it, to get the whole unblocked book.

and i always thought that Japan was soooooooooo far out there compare to the US... especially this fascination with schoolgirls. they produce model magazines, that anyone can buy on newstands out in the open, featuring under 18 models in tight (meaning nipples and cameltoe... meaning they might as well be naked, you see it all anyway) underwear and bathing suits. its so bad in Japan, that a man can molest a woman or even a girl... even in pubic, say a subway... and the girl will let them, not say anything. its better to actually endure the molestation than make any kind of scene and suffer the "embarrassment" of losing face over it. men are just being men, but the woman is the perverted one if she lets it be known she does anything sexually (willing or unwilling).

the money thing made sense to me, the morals thing does not. block out genitalia but have the whole story uncensored (the stories are usually as good as the art)... as well as the rest of the body, including the "see-thru" pelvis shots showing the penis shooting cum inside is O.K. its very weird.

This is similar to the new policy in British TV that forbids the depiction of people smoking. As one critic put it: the public can see adultery, domestic abuse, excessive drinking, incest and physical violence--but Heaven forbid that it see consumption of tobacco!
