I feel such a loyalty and belief in the established models who so obviously show such total bravery and commitment in their shows that I confess I view any newcomer with a little bit of suspicion. Not hostility in any way, I always feel supportive, but I find it difficult to believe or accept that yet another can be so 'special'. However, in my view, 1020 has just joined the very best here.
Of course, 1020 has been waiting in the wings for a while; she is not really a newcomer (certainly not to bdsm, as was very clear); it is simply that we have been denied the sight of her in a live show. Ever since she appeared as a 'decoration' towards the end of last year and chatted to us, there has always been a feeling of 'unfinished business'.
Well now we have had the long awaited live show, and wow! It was a weekday show, relaxed (well not for 1020!), informal, no stunning pieces of new equipment, but no 'kid-glove' treatment. I'm not sure it matched the 'consential non-consent' hype, 1020 always had an 'out', but what we saw instead was masterly work by pd and amazing composure and endurance by 1020. PD really pushed her limits, yet never took her to the point of making her safeword or crash out. It was the mental balance act at its best.
1020 took some vicious canings, the thin cane early on, impressive weals even across her inner thighs and breasts, but the finale with the heavy cane ("101 woody") across her buttocks and the backs of her thighs was just incredible. As we marvelled at what 1020 could take, I had to wonder just whose limits were being pushed, 1020's or pd's?
