How about telling us why a gallery is flagged for review

Posted a 10 image gallery a couple days ago. Nothing against the rules that I know of, but the gallery was "flagged for review". Right. What review? Never to be seen again is more like it. So how about a note about why or which images caused the problem?

A few things on this. Normally you would get an email telling you why. And that email will go to the box where you signed up for ImageFap. And you 'should' get an announcement also. This might not always happen. The email for sure.

I see the flagged gallery and pictures. Personally I would not have flagged it. BUT, someone from Tumblr might have complained. That would be a very fast complaint though. But you never know.

Lastly the moderator who flagged it is not going to tell you why. This means interaction between the mod and the user. And almost always will end up in a big fight. And the user will lose, not the moderator. Since the gallery is flagged right now, the Admin(s) will see it and make a final decision.

Thanks for the reply. Doesn't seem to make a whole lot of sense. The tumblr thought is a good one, but it would seem odd since I've posted other galleries of shots from tumblr. Oh well. I'll go check my e-mail. Thanks again.

Hi,

I have checked the gallery, I wouldn't have flagged it either, so I have removed the flag.
It was flagged for advertising.

One image I have flagged for unauthorized use, I recognized the image, owner always objects.

The messages sent for flagging/deleting need a make-over, I think it is also weird that some are sent to the
email adress and others are sent by imagefap message.

For now, I can't do much, besides creating as much tickets as possible for our developer.
Be patient, just like me, all will be solved

Thanks for the reply Admin. I hardly ever check my e-mail, but did and saw the messages. I understand the advertising part. Won't happen again.

The pic that was flagged and removed - again I understand why. I know that picture is out in the public domain without any identifying watermarks or such. I would hope that these type of pictures would simply be removed and wouldn't result in a ban since they're hard to identify otherwise as material that shouldn't be posted.
