PLEASE fix this (newt1.adultadworld.com)

Postby 3Apples on Mon Oct 13, 2008 7:55 pm

So sad! Nearly anytime I click anything on Imagefap lately my spyware/virus protection gives me this warning about something on your pages. It links to http...newt1.adultadworld.com and locks up my entire browser over and over.
It claims it is "Right Media" whatever that means.

I also get a lot of popups even after I am logged in lately as well.

Is anyone aware of this, also experiencing this?

Thanks :)

What browser are you using?
"My Mexican sister, she's a model. She's hot. And an artist. She's funny.
Lets hear it for incest!"

It is not a pop up. I appears to be a very unliked link (advertisment link) on nearly every page on this site.
My spybot software blocks it each time and notifys me.
So every damn click I do I must pause to acknowledge it.
No one has the problem with the newt1.adultadworld.com warnings?
I assume no one in charge cares because they are getting paid.
I am not going to use firefox. It is not an IE issue. It is a distrusted spyware filled site at newt1.adultadworld.com...

I am surprised if I am the only one here is all.

You're right, this link is handled in a different way than the other pop ups. The NoScript add-on for Firefox doesn't offer either to permit or to ban it.
Nonetheless I don't suffer from it, although I can see the link at the top of some pages.
The fact this link hasn't been mentioned in the forum only indicates that only a few members are active here. Probably none of them knows this annoying process at first hand.

I suggest you better deal with your spybot software, usually a simple antivirus software and a very simple firewall will do. If you become suspicious your PC has caught some spyware or malware, let your spybot software run, but don't keep it active when online.

I run my system with Avira (freeware) and ZoneAlarm (freeware) and had no probs so far.
SpyHunter is free, as long as you don't use the part that eliminates spyware and malware elements. I just install the trial version when I might have caught some dirt and erase the indicated folders and registry entries manually.

Sorry for not being able to solve your problem.
BTW: your galleries are lovely...
