How To Add An Avatar (Current System)

How to get this
Image
to look more personalized, like this
Image

Start on your Profile page.
In the upper-right corner, look for your "My fap" link.
Image
Click on it.

Let the page titled "control panel" load. Look on the left side this time for a link called "My details."
Image
Click on that.

The next page to load will consist of a group of tabs in a rectangle within the heavy blue rectangle. Look for one called "Avatars."
Image
Click on that.

The next page to load allows you to choose an avatar from some location on your computer.
Image
The long rectangle, the "Browse" button, and the "Upload avatar" button are the parts to focus attention on.
This is a "side door" to the gallery Uploader, and the same rules apply here as to the file formats you can upload, with one exception: no .zips. But as we're uploading a single file, any size .zip would not be appropriate.

Click on the "Browse" button, and navigate with the Open dialog that appears to the location of the JPEG, GIF or PNG you wish to use as an avatar. When you've found it, click on Open. Its file name should appear in our "long rectangle." Next, click on Upload Avatar. When the uploader has got the file and processed it, you should see the image along with the words "Avatar uploaded successfully."

If any of these steps do not work, or if you need further explanation of how to do this than this walkthrough provides, please post your questions here.

Has anyone decided if this part of the "main site" is being kept on? If so, this how-to probably deserves to be made into a sticky; I'll just edit the last line in the OP to read "here in Help & Support" so it can be locked as well, and delete this query. If rougefemale or longhairfish have an answer to my question, it would save all concerned a bit of work if they answered via forum PM.

It's not working for me. When I hit the upload button it just takes me to a blank page with the url "http://upload.imagefap.com/upload_avatar.php" and nothing happens even if i refresh. Been trying numerous times already but still the same result. :(
