Our picture / account deletion policy

Hey everyone,

It's that time of year where I have to let you all know how or why we delete your pictures.

Here are a few of the reasons why your pictures are deleted. You get a message about every deletion.

This is the short list. So here it is.

Before I start you should know about the moderators first. We are all adults from all over the world. We have no moderators under the age of 30. We all have had kids. Some of us have grand kids. We have all been in school locker rooms. We know what we are looking at. But even if you swear up and down the person in the deleted picture is 18 it doesn't matter. Site rules state the people must look to be over 18. Period. We will not get into a one-on-one discussion with you about it. In the end you will lose and the picture or gallery stays deleted. If you want to debate that with your local police department (in some cases) we will gladly hand over all information we have about you.

So - Don't ask. Don't complain. It will get you nowhere.

Also there is no free speech here. And there are no conspiracies. So don't play that card.

0 - Appears too young. One of our site moderators has decided that the people in the picture are not of the age of 18. This could also be a request from an outside agency.

1 - Inappropriate content with minors - Comics/Fakes etc - The majority of deletions are comics. Self explanitory.

2 - Copyright Complaint - This needs no explanation. The picture was not yours to start with. So you are losing nothing when we delete for this reason.

3 - Unauthorized Personal Images - This is almost like reason 0. Someone has complained to us that they don't want their pictures on our site. While not a DMCA / Copyright issue we don't give the complainant a hard time.

4 - Content considered illegal / Child abuse - Self explanatory.

6 - Personal Identifiable Information - Site rules state no full first and last names. No drivers license, passports or anything like that. And no physical location of where the person lives or works.

7 - Revenge Pictures - I'll give you a tip. If you receive this reason for a picture or gallery deletion, I will not be the next one who will be talking to you. Take that under advisement.

8 - Commercial Website Linking - Self explanatory. Don't advertise anything. This includes links to file sharing sites.

9 - Sex with animals - Comics / Fakes - Self explanatory

Admin to delete account - Site rules clearly broken which on the sever side. Again there will be no discussion about it.

Child abuse reported by organization - This is about as bad as it can get for you. This means an agency somewhere on the planet has contacted us to make deletions. 90% of the time your account will be closed after the picture deletions.

Found offensive or insulting - This is purely at discretion of the site moderator or me. Some pictures simply don't belong here. And the uploader knows that. Simply put, act civilized and like an adult and there won't be a problem.

Imagefap is not a shock site - Gore, blood and most of the time hanging. There are plenty of other sites you can share those types of pictures. Moderators and me have the final say.

N/A Ignore this message. Usually used for site maintenance when a gallery or picture has gone astray. Or if you have specifically asked us to delete something that you couldn't do.

Only permitted in filthy porn -
1. Galleries containing scat, bloody tampons, menstruation, puke, vomit and pee / piss must be added to the Filthy porn category, bizarre may be chosen as second category
2. This content may no longer be posted in any of the other categories.

Personal information beyond a first name - Pretty much a duplicate of the earlier reason. When we delete for this reason you are clear as to what the problem is.

Questionable Age - Looks under 18 - Just as the reason says. Maybe the person is 18. Maybe not. Sometimes the call is difficult. So we delete the picture.

Referring to illegal or unethical activities - Rape, murder, drug use or anything like that.

Sexual conversations with a minor - This is mostly for an account deletion. If we find out that you have willingly talked to someone on our site who has claimed to be under 18 both accounts and all galleries will be deleted. This includes the chat section and and messages sent or received from other users. If you doubt the age of anyone on our site report them. Advisement - Do that just to save your own account and any other trouble. Also I would add, don't try to be cute and delete your conversations. We keep everything even though you can't see it.

Targeting someone for degrading or shaming - Self explanatory. Simply put you can't upload pictures or galleries and then go on to describe the person in a vulgar way. Honestly we don't use this deletion reason too much. You would have to going a bit overboard to have something deleted for this. Perhaps this should be deleted some day as it falls under other reasons.

TOX information not allowed - If you don't know what this is then you don't have to worry. But if you do, this pertains to info on your profile page, chat room talk or messages you send to others. Your account will be deleted right away and we will never hear another word from you.

Underaged user, Investigate - When we 'get the scoop' about a person on our site who might not be over 18 we check them out. The account will be flagged and under review until we have a chance to verify the claim.

Spam - Self explanatory. But this would mean pictures or galleries nobody wants to see. Or advertising in some cases.

Doesn't belong on imagefap - Clearly when you upload something you will know if it doesn't belong on the site or not. This is almost a 100% judgement call by the site moderators. I go along with them and never question the deletion.

To some people the rules I vaguely explained seem harsh. The rest of the users this has no meaning because they go by the site rules.

Again we will not get into a debate with you about deletions. We simply don't have the time to go back and forth with emails and messages. Because in the end the picture(s) are gone. We will not show you the pictures we deleted.

I would add this as it's a classic email we receive once in a while....

USER : Hey! She is 18!
ME : That's what they all say. It is up to you to make sure every picture you upload appears to be over 18.

USER : But I found the picture(s) here on Imagefap!
ME : That doesn't relieve you from ignoring the rules. Everything you place on your account is your responsibility.


And one other thing that I have mentioned many times. If you have mixed questionable pictures in with mature adults we will not play games. The gallery will be gone. Will not sit around and sort through all of a gallery just to find something questionable. Basically put, if you have a gallery of 500 and we find 3 or 4 questionable pictures - the gallery is gone. We know the game. We know how it works.
