IMAGE THUMB MISSING

hi good morning some of my images i just uploaded leave a thumbnail when you view them that says "image does not exist" but when you click on the non existing image it is there is it a bug? or am i doing something wrong

Yeah, kinda annoying. Especially when right after uploading a gallery i edit it to add a description and see "missing image" thumbnail. Though i think it's a glitch or, perhaps, overload. Maybe lag ? ;)

I was searching for a topic with this problem in it, as I am having the same problem in my galleries, there's usually atleast one or two images in each that have this, "Image does not exist" message.

I think this is just another problem with this being a free site, and having so many photos uploaded each day, I could be wrong though..and that's why I'm posting here. I hope someone can shed some light on this. I'll be bookmarking this topic to check for responses.

Thanks in advance whoever gives input on this recurring irritation.

it has to do with the number of users online, the number of specific HD accesses, the number of specific files accessed, server maintenance and a few other things.

when you deal with this volume, it happens. there can only be so many processes and so many access requests to an HD at once. no matter how good the servers processor is or how fast the HD is.
