I've always wondered something about porn sites. What is the category of "asses" supposed to include? It's like all these sites (the ones that even have this category, at least) assume that there is only one kind of ass and that everyone automatically likes this one kind of ass.

Let's think about it: is it supposed to mean small asses, big asses, "medium" asses? Asses that are flat, or asses that are round? Any combination of size and shape?

And if you go with that latter choice, let me ask you this: if that's the case, then why does this site (and all other porn sites) have a "Big Tits Gallery"? That doesn't seem as all-encompassing now, does it (it obviously doesn't include small tits)? Why not just have it be a "Tits Gallery"? Why would you specify one category but not another?

Just wanted to air a small yet persistent grievance I've had with many porn sites. Hoping to get intelligent and enlightened replies.

I don´t understand this thread. An ass is an ass is an ass. I´m a fan of ass´girls (or at least, of some selected girls ), so I never will discriminate an ass of another ass. For me, all the asses (is that plural right?) are very respectable, but if it belong to some girl that I like is even more respectable. Not all asses are interesting, but in this world I must say that an ass woman is probably the only one reality.

Beside that, since the cunt and donut are found there also, you're looking at a minimum of 20+ ass categories. Sure it says ass, but there's always pussy and vice versa... the fact is, porn is difficult to categorize. Second looking for an intelligent answer from people who spend the majority of their time looking at porn is not the way to go lol......

The way I categorize my porn collection (as i love an organized porn stash):

-Pics-
Boobs and Cheeks (cleavage is cleavage) - This gallery is just for boob(s) and ass cheek only where no pussy or anus is shot
Gay Fantasies - Everything Cock (men, T-girls, CD's, etc)
Groups - Where a group of girls are together showing some nudity
People I Know - Only nudity or near nudity of brother/sister-in-law, mother-in-law, friends, coworkers
Hentai - This is where all hentai, anime porn, manga, cartoon, etc go. They are categorized further such as, "tentacle", "TV Series", "Ecchi", etc
Spread - Everything around the ass that shows pussy or anus or indication of a spread
Favorites - This is my Jack-Off gallery. This holds copies of my favorites from all galleries that I use for the sole purpose of jacking it. Just because I collect porn and like to look it, does not mean it's what I use to get me off.
Misc - Everything that doesn't fit anywhere else, or another catergory would contain only a handful of pictures. Example: there's 7 pooping pictures in my misc, and other small fetishes.

Mine are, as you can see, organized into catergories by fetish. This is probably the best way to organize any porn, and in my opinion should be organized on imagefap. When looking for an ass gallery of my favorite type, I have to look in ass and pussy, and amatuer AND mature to sometimes find one. If it was simply organized to "spread" or similar, then I would find it easier and only have to look through spread pussies and spread ass cheeks to find the latter.

You don't have to "measure" an ass to know that it's big or small. Are you to imply that most people simply don't care about how an ass looks like? You say that imagefap should organize its categories based on fetishes, but "asses" is way too generalized to qualify as a fetish.

If you have a gallery full of small asses categorized in Asses, then I don't think it would be moderated by staff because it doesn't fit "Big ass" standards, though that category would typically be associated with large asses and anal porn. As for small tits, its kind of a niche, though I guess any fetish technically is....though I think it's easy to argue more like large breasts than small breasts, and those looking for small breasts are typically looking for young girls with small breasts and not explicit small breasts porn.

I think a tag system would be great, though an open tag system would be abused by site users. There should be a few hundred or so agreed upon tags that can be applied to galleries and then you can narrow your searches with using multiple tags. That would probably require a pretty good overhaul of the site though, and I doubt it will happen unless enough people request it....but we did have recent site redesign (Thanks for implementing suggested features, IF staff) so I guess it is possible. It might be better just to have few more categories, and less categories that are duplicate of others (Shemales and Transexuals...are their any Female to male transexual galleries to justify Transexuals? Or why not just keep it Transexuals instead to be PC, and remove Shemales?)
