Site maintenance continues

Hi guys,

While we work to improve the stability of the site and fix a few things here and there, everything is pretty much going as planned. But not without a few bugs.

First is the error 429 or Too Many Requests issue. That is all explained here.

While we like everyone to use the site as much as possible, there are more than a handful of people who like to abuse the site. We are not mad at users who use different types of browsers or programs to download galleries, we have to put a limit on those who do so. Once in a while this will affect the average user who is simply browsing around. The limit we put in place yesterday is still being worked on. It might be raised or even tightened up some more. We are watching all site activity. So nothing is set in stone yet.

Members Search - Yes, it is not working. This is not a huge issue, but we should have this function back sometime today or tomorrow (17th).

Downloading of galleries is disabled for the weekend. And possibly longer.

Not if done right, they will not. The site NEEDS the limit cuz otherwise all the insane downloading is like a DDoS attack on the site. Not as malicious but similar effect.
