Opera web browser revisited

Postby longhairfish on Fri Jul 06, 2012 9:19 am

I did a fresh install of the Opera web browser recently. I can tell you that I am pretty impressed. It has been a while since I tried this browser out. I mention this browser only because of the recent trouble of the ad that has taken over the left side of the screen while looking at individual galleries. If you are one who has no trouble or worries about installing another browser I suggest you give this a try. The really cool thing for Imagefap browsing is the ability to fit the page to the width of your screen. That will be on the bottom right of the screen with an arrow next to the slide bar. Simply click the up arrow and go to Fit To Width. A simple CTRL + combination with your keyboard will line you up perfectly. Or you can slide the bar around and adjust that way also.

For sites other then Imagefap, there is a turbo mode. That will also be an option you can try which is on the bottom left of your screen. Personally I don't see much of a difference in browsing. But if you have a slow internet connection this might be of some use to you. There are some other cool options which make it different than other browsers. Using Opera on Imagefap might be the only reason (for now) that you will install it.

Opera not my friend

...not of late! I keep on getting logged out! :? What gives? I just switched over from firefox, due to announcement, and this is even worse. I seem to remember this happening here on this browser, months ago, a year? What can be done, as its very frustrating, especially late in the evening.

The logging out (without you doing it) has been a problem for at least 2 years. I am getting the same thing. Sporadic though. Doesn't seem to make any sense. Web browser or operating system does the same thing.
