how do i rename a folder

Hi guys,

Following your latest announcement, i've been adding the word SCAT to all my galleries, to make sure people can't pretend to bump in 'em by mistake.
Thing is, i would also like to rename the overall folder they're in but i can't find how to do it : when i go to manage "my content" and "organise folder", no choice is offered in the action part of the thingie...

Instead of "uncategorized" -its current name- i'd like to rename it "WARNING : SCAT", that way people not into it oculdn't say they were not warned.

Could you help me ?

You're going to the right page to do it. What you're probably missing is that little blue icon that looks like a pen hovering over 2 sheets of paper next to the red X icon. Click on that icon to rename that folder. It should say "Rename Gallery Folder" when you hover over it.

You're right : i'm missing that very icon because it is plainly not shown ofr "organize folders" in the control panel.

When i click on "gallery listing", it does appear for each gallery ; but not on "organize folders" and that's this very part i wanna work on.....

You can't rename the default "Uncategorized" folder.

Any other folder has the little paper with a pen over it icon when you click on that folder and is easy to rename once you click on that icon.

Sounds to me like your best option is to create a new folder, name it "Warning: Scat," and use a bulk action to move all the relevant galleries to it.

I think it's funny that you think people purposefully look at your shitty galleries and then complain as if they hadn't meant to see them. It's far more reasonable to believe that they didn't want to see it in the first place, don't you think?

I say everywhere on my profile that i'm into scat -including my pseudo- so people with two bits of sense should expect my galleries to display my tastes ; if they didn't want to see them in the first place, then they shouldn't have opened their eyes on 'em

Or you could just make your galleries private so everyone else doesn't have to see them.

My current fans wouldn't feel cheated ? would they retain access to them ? what about new fans ? is it true Nicholas Cage is a good actor ?

I don't know yet whether i'll private them...
For the moment i think there's enough red tape and warning around me for people who don't like scat : although we're all pervs, every one must do their share in due intelligence, i.e, not going to galleries/ interest that don't interest them in order to drool how disgusting it is.

There are fetishes here that are not my kind : i do'nt go see them and bitch about how sick they are. They're happy without me, i'm happy without them, i don't come make they shit on ther own turf, see my point ?
