Image sizes

Postby KCH1970 on Mon May 15, 2023 2:11 am

Can we please change a couple of things regarding image sizes:
1) The upper limit of individual files needs to be changed. I realize there is a cost to bandwidth, but it has been going down while the quality of photos have been going up. I had a nice gallery going up, but all of the images were deemed "too large".
2) The definitions of "huge", "large", "medium" and "small" need to be redefined. 1000x2000 is not huge in 2023. It is SMALL. I hope that can be done by just fixing the filter and that it is not something attached to each gallery.

Can Imagefap adjust to the present? I realize I am a relative newcomer (though I lurked for a while). I am, however, shocked at these shortcomings. Cheers,

Usually "too large" means that your images have too many terabytes.

4000x3000 pixels usually is not a problem. Except for your screen, because it's too large to show in original size on a 1920x1080 display.. But if you take them directly out of your cam there is about 90% data rubbish in the image.

Just open it in MS paint (if you are a Wintendo player), save it and you will see what's gone.
