Today, out of 18 "Featured Members"

Three were straight or bisexual females, no straight males, the other 15 were CDs or TV or sissy.

Today, out of 18 "Featured Member Profiles", SEVEN are declared as sissy. The first four featured members are all self described as "sissy"

7 out of 18. I don't believe that is a fair representation of the general membership. 5 of the others are kinky non hetero males, the others seem to be female.

No hetero males. None out of 18.

Only a few straight hetero females - superficially, the four female members seem to be quite outrageous.

Is this a fair representation of the Imagefap membership? Since the huge majority of galleries submitted by members are of women, I don't understand the continued emphasis on kinky males in this section.

It seems quite odd, really.

Just read through all the posts in this thread, and I am still puzzled.

1. I don't understand why only verified members are eligible for "featured profile" status - why are they noteworthy, while others substantial contributors are not?

2. Even if one accepts that "featured profiles" are only selected from the range of verified members, the emphasis on TV/TS and sissy is not mirrored when you do a simple search of verified members of all types - try it yourself

When I just ran this search, the first 18 verified members included 13 males, one couple and four TS/TV

3. The emphasis on TS/TV/sissy/crossdressers makes it appear that this website wants people of that orientation more than it wants people of more "boring" orientations - I've never seen a couple in the "featured profiles". Don't you want hetero males to join? Sexy straight women? Couples?

It's your site, so you can run it how you like, and I am always grateful for what I get out of Imagefap. But these questions date back to 2014, and there hasn't really been substantial answers or change.

Personally, it always troubles me that the home page looks like a website for trannies and sissies (no offense intended) while it is plain that most of the porn herein is heterosexual. In the galleries, I filter out the types of porn I don't like, but the "featured profiles" is beyond my control.

It's out of proportion (just like my interest is out of proportion lol)

i agree on this. i'm not knocking someone else's preferences but the crossdressers and sissies dominate the featured profiles. i want to see profiles that fit my preferences.

Hi everyone...

I will tell you what I know, which isn't much. And let you know what I think - which may not may not matter to you

Sissies, TS, TG and any other profiles shown on the main page is here to stay. This is the word I got from the top. This topic comes around once in a while asking why it has to be this way. The short answer would be "It is what it is". Personally I don't make the main site my landing (bookmarked) link. Instead I just jet over to the galleries and start browsing.

So, if you don't prefer to see this kind of thing, then make http://www.imagefap.com/gallery.php your bookmarked link. You won't be missing much - believe me!

But lets say we featured a bunch of guys and girls on the main page. Problems will exist. Here is why. Lets say we feature the hottest of the hottest girls ok? Those girls will get lots of attention. Worst part is - maybe too much. These featured girls will get bombed with messages from many of our users. This would be discouraging for the girls and possibly cause them to leave.

Then of course if we mixed the main page with guys and girls. Well, you know what will happen then. I don't need to explain that one

Thanks for the answer. I don't agree with your logic about too many men or women or couples in the featured profiles, and I also don't see why CHOOSING to feature people who are on the fringes is the the more "palatable" choice, instead of showing women.

What is in it for the "owners" of the site to feature fringe dwellers like these? I don't get it.

I've tried to suppress that part of the front page using a blocker, but I'm not smart enough.

But let me say this - the owners are CHOOSING to put an image on the frontpage that I find deeply offensive. As an example, some guy showing the world his arsehole is NOT something I want to see! FFS.

Change the title to "TODAY'S FEATURED MEMBERS WHO ARE VERIFIED AND WHO AREN'T STRAIGHT"

Geez - how much programming went into selecting members who don't fit that category ...

What really annoys me (too much time on my hands) is the EFFORT that has gone into making sure that the featured members are the polar opposite of my pedestrian interests.

If the featured profiles were chosen randomly, and one of them was one that i didn't like, I'd have no gripe - but someone has deliberately chosen to ensure that ALL of the featured profiles ALL OF THE TIME are the sorts of people I don't get any pleasure seeing.
