First of all...I wonder how many of you grew up (as I did) loving the escape porn provides -- I certainly did. And how many of you found yourself bonded to many of the women who we watched in porn, in an almost reverential way. I did and now that I am getting older, many of those porn stars are also aging. And not only are they aging, but many are dying from "natural causes" or age-related causes. There are lots of porn stars who died tragically young, Shauna Grant is one...there are many others; suicide, drug overdoeses, car wrecks (Anna Malle, I think) and some I am sure were killed by someone, accidently or on purpose.

In the past 2 to 3 years, however, many of the porn stars that I really liked have passed away -- I am talking about Kay Parker, Candy Samples, Kitten Natividad, Kandy Kane (2016) and now I find out that someone I always fantasized about meeting -- Diane Richards -- aka Dutchess of Down and Dirty, who in the late 1990s and early 2000 was part of the GILF/MILF revolution in porn, that included Kitty Foxx, Jenny Joyce, Shablis, Grace King, Stormy Gale and many others. I saw that she died almost 2 years ago, in 2022. I wonder what her final years were like -- personally, financially, emotionally. I know that porn can take a toll and I know that most of the women eventually get paid little and often end up in bad relationships.

I just don't know how I feel about jacking off to images or videos of these women who have died. Do you have that same feeling? Do we still say that images in porn aren't that person but a fantasy of who they are portraying? I had Jamie Monroe on a facebook account I used to have and I was hoping to meet her in person one day. I know that in real life, these women would not act like they act in porn....but that they are all real people with real feelings and real reasons for going into porn that in many cases, they just kept doing it because they didn't know anything else.

So do you still have your favorites that you like to jack off with, eventhough they are passed away?

What an interesting question! I have often pondered the same question.
My thoughts are that all the people named and the many more that aren’t, have made their career from their ‘image’. This is the same image that attracts us in the first place to certain men and women. The same goes for Hollywood, Bollywood, Pop & Rock Music etc. We put our own spin on the image that we see. We may see a beautiful woman and fantasize her as a lover, a Mother, put a prop like a whip in her hand she becomes a Dominatrix. Artists/photographers have exploited this since art began. The image creates a feeling or emotion that we enjoy, whether it is arousal, shame, anger, sorrow or a feeling we identify or empathise with. It’s impossible to say what our favourite porn stars feel, but many of them must have got off on being naked in front of a camera. It must quite exhilarating knowing that men and women find your image sexually arousing.
Of course that’s not entirely true as no doubt, some porn stars, film stars, pop stars, were exploited.
If we were to stop displaying pictures of dead porn stars on imagefap, there would be uproar, as many people including myself use the ‘image’ not the person for sexual gratification. We enjoy a strange and brief relationship with a collection of pixels arranged in a certain way.
Film stars remain film stars long after they’re dead. It doesn’t stop us enjoying their work or image. Most people want to remain immortal, but film or video almost allows the actor to do just that.
Is it disrespectful to the dead to use their image to achieve sexual gratification, IE is it OK to wank over an image of your favourite dead porn star. I can’t see why not, it’s what they wanted in life, so why should it change in death. After all we all want to be remembered and you’re doing just that.
