A few years ago new renters moved into the house across the avenue from me. The husband and wife couple were nice people. He would come over now and then and borrow tools etc. He always brought them back he was a nice guy. The wife even brought me over 2 plates one Thanksgiving day with all the trimmings. She was nice as well. But, this story is not about them. It's about the wife's mother. As I got to know the new couple I met her mother. At first I did not think of her in anyway except she was nice too. Then one day she asked me if I would fix a couple drawers in her kitchen cabinets. She actually had them in the trunk of her car so I looked at them. I said sure I can fix them. When I fixed them I brought them over to her house to make sure they would work, which they did. As we got to know each other she had me do some other repairs and I even mowed her lawn a few times. As I look back I don't think I charged her even though she offered to pay me. She would call me when she bought something at a store and it would not fit in her car's trunk. I even picked her up after she had surgery on her foot. So over time me being with her sitting on the porch with my arm around her and helping her I was looking at her in a different way. I found myself lusting after her. She was a few years older than me but, that did not matter to me. Well one day she called me and asked me if I would pick up some furniture she bought at a yard sale. I said sure after all I had the "hots" for her and wanted to get in her pants but, on her timing not mine. So after the guy and I loaded up the truck she got into my truck and she almost fell because the ground was uneven and it made the truck sit higher. We unloaded the truck and came back for a few more items. So this time when she was getting into the truck I stood next to her just incase she needed help, sure enough she did so as she was trying to get in I had to grab her thigh and lift her in. WOW, if looks could kill I would have dropped dead right then. She said "don't touch me". Right them in a split second any feelings I had for her, any lust I had for her left... (I wonder how I got by with putting my arm around her when we sat together on her porch). The next day she did apologize for telling me that and said it was rude of her to say that but, I need my space. (whatever that means) I told her that I forgive her and I would not put myself in that position again. That killed my feelings for her and I never helped her again. I think she knows why I don't and that she fucked up talking to me that way when I showed her all kinds of respect and not pushing myself on her.
